From Wick to Wax

 
 

The process of selecting scents, choosing a jar, designing a label, and creating your custom-scented candle takes about 45 minutes.

Walk-ins are welcome, but groups of four (4) or more are asked to make a reservation to ensure they are seated together at the Scent Bar. Reservations are allowed for any group size, limited up to 14 guests during the week (Mon-Fri) and 8 guests on the weekends (Sat-Sun). Visit our Plan Your Own Event page for more information!

Candles take at least 90 minutes to cool before they are ready to take home.

Want to make something other than a candle? You can customize sprays, oils, reed diffusers, and body care products like scrubs, lotions, and hand soaps.

We stock 90+ fragrances; finding your favorites is as simple as following your nose! Pop the lids off candles and make a list of your favorite scents.

Don’t worry if they go well together — our Scent Tenders will help you create combinations for any occasion.

Worried anyway? Think about where you’ll be placing (or using) your product. If you are making something for a specific room in your house try to pick scents that blend into the atmosphere you are trying to create.

Scent

Once you select your scents, choose a candle jar (and/or fragrance container) from our selection on the shelf. Then you’ll design a label and mix your oils at our Scent Bar to create a unique custom scent.

Stay

Candles take at least 90 minutes to cool. That’s a long time, so we recommend exploring the neighboring shops and local area. (Fragrance products take less time to make than candles, but we still recommend exploring the area.)

Whether you’re looking for dinner, drinks, or boutiques, our Scent Tenders are happy to provide recommendations. If you’re in the San Maro area, you can also visit MySanMarco.com for the latest on what’s happening.

If you’d like to pour a candle and take it home with you the same day, please plan to visit the store at least two and a half hours before we close (7:00 PM Tue-Thu, 9:00 PM Fri-Sat, 5:00 PM Sun).

If you don't mind picking up your candle another day, you can stop by anytime during regular business hours. There is no rush to pick up your finished candles — we will hold onto them for you!

 

Pay

Pricing is dependent on the size and style of jar that you choose. Prices range from $23-$40 with most options around $28.
